How it works
Would you like to rent an e-bike? There are information about registration, rental and return.
Borrowing and returning only at the system-specific Pedelec automatic stations, which are marked with a green lightning bolt in the MV-Rad app.
A service fee will be charged for returns to other stations or random parking.
1. Register
– Open app MV-Rad (credit card, ApplePay, GooglePay or PayPal required).
Your payment method will be charged €1.00 for verification. This €1.00 will then be credited to your customer account.
2. Rent a bike
- open app MV-Rad
– Select “Rent a bike” and scan the QR code on the bike
– Lock (Framelock) on the rear wheel opens – Attention: if the lock does not open → check whether a spoke is blocking the lock opening and move the rear wheel slightly
3. Parking your bike
– In the app under “Your Rentals” select the bike number → select a break → only then close the lock on the rear wheel by pressing down the lever
– End your break → select the number of the parked bike → then click on “Continue renting” → the frame lock (bike lock) opens automatically
4. Return the bike
– Close the lock on the rear wheel by pressing down the lever and update the app.
